The company operates regional cable sports channel YES Network, which airs 130 New York Yankees baseball games, as well as New Jersey Nets basketball games. YES Network also shows a number of regional collegiate teams along with pre-game and post-game shows, talk shows, classic sports footage, and other sports features. The channel is distributed in Connecticut and New York, and in parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Launched in 2002, YES Network is 60%-owned by the Steinbrenner family; other investors include investment bank Goldman Sachs, and former Nets owner Ray Chambers.
