Overview
XATA helps companies keep track of their truck fleets. The company's Web-based XATANET application helps fleet operators automate driver logs and fuel tax reporting, manage vehicle and driver performance, track assets, and enable two-way messaging. Aimed at the for-hire segment of the transportation sector (as opposed to private fleets), its MobileMax Fleet Management System provides similar functionality. XATA markets to customers in the manufacturing, distribution, and petroleum markets, primarily in the US. Its systems are installed in about 100,000 trucks in North America. Customers include Penske, Ryder System, Safeway, and the US Postal Service.
