Additional garden-related products include compost, chemicals, gardening books, picnic baskets, conservatory furniture, outdoor lighting, heaters, and pet supplies. Products are purchased from local nurseries and other third-party suppliers. It was founded in 1932 by Harry Williamson. Wyevale was acquired by Scottish investor and entrepreneur Tom Hunter and Iceland's Baugur Group in mid-2006 and was taken private.
