Branches in WinWholesale's network are locally run and easily recognizable by their Win-prefixed names, such as Winair, Winlectric, Winwater, and Winnelson. The exception to the naming scheme is its Noland subsidiary, which operates more than 100 locations in the Southeast under the Noland banner. WinWholesale supports its branches with centralized purchasing, warehousing, and accounting. Originally named Primus, the firm was founded in 1956.
