Wind River is targeting set-top boxes, digital cameras, mobile phones, and other appliances for future growth. Wind River's customers come from a variety of markets, including aerospace, automotive, digital imaging, industrial measurement, medical, and networking. In July 2009 the company was acquired by Intel for $884 million.
