Williams Scotsman leases and sells mobile and modular space units and provides delivery, installation, and related products and services. Its products include mobile offices, modular buildings, classrooms, and portable storage containers. Williams Scotsman is one of the largest lessors of mobile and modular space in North America, with a fleet of some 105,000 units that are leased through a network of nearly 90 branch offices in the US, Canada, and Mexico. France-based mobile structure company Algeco bought the firm in 2007. The following year Williams Scotsman expanded in the US through the acquisition of approximately 330 mobile office and storage units from General Modular Corporation.
