Williams Pipeline Partners is piping up across the Rockies to the northwestern US. The company owns a 25% general partnership interest (subsidiary Williams Gas Pipeline owns the remainder) in Northwest, which operates a natural gas pipeline extending from the San Juan Basin in New Mexico and Colorado to the Canadian border near Sumas, Washington. With about 3,900 miles of pipeline, Northwest can move some 3 billion bu. ft. of natural gas each day and has a storage capacity of more than 12 billion cu. ft. Customers include local natural gas distribution companies (LDCs), electric power generators, municipal utilities, and natural gas marketers and producers.
