Western Gas Company Description
Western Gas Partners' style is to gather and go. The company gathers and transports natural gas for its largest customer and parent, Anadarko Petroleum. It pumps more than 800 million cu. ft. of gas a day through six gathering systems, five treating facilities, and one interstate pipeline, which stretches almost 3,000 miles across Wyoming, Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Operating principally under long-term contracts, the company gathers natural gas from individual wells, after which it is compressed, treated, and ultimately delivered to end-users.
