It manufactures hand coverings, including work gloves, garden gloves, hunting gloves, mittens, and professional oven mitts. Wells Lamont operates through three business units. Its namesake unit makes gloves for the retail market; Midwest Leather Group operates leather and pigskin tanneries; and Wells Lamont Industry Group makes protective hand coverings for industrial use.
