Philip Anschutz doesn't want Hollywood to retreat back to nature, he just wants movies to be a little more peaceful. Walden Media, a part of billionaire Anschutz's entertainment holdings (Anschutz Film Group), is a family- and education-oriented production company. Walden teamed up with Walt Disney Studios to produce Holes, based on the popular children's novel of the same name and two films based on C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia. Walden also produced movie versions of the novels Bridge to Terabithia and Journey to the Center of the Earth, and released a live-action/CG animation adaptation of E.B.White's Charlotte's Web. In addition, Walden Media publishes books such as the Paddywhack Lane series.
