More than 13,000 US financial institution members comprise Visa U.S.A. and about 520 million Visa-brand check, commercial, credit, prepaid, and smart cards are carried by US consumers. Nearly 7 million merchants accept Visa cards in the US. Its consumer credit card options include literally thousands of co-branded and affinity cards. After restructuring, Visa Inc. is now the parent company of not only Visa U.S.A., but Visa Canada as well.
