Overview
Leif Eriksson's oceangoing Viking explorers could only dream of vessels like those made by Viking Yacht. The company manufactures pleasure boats, primarily for sportfishing. Its line of yachts vary in length from 45 to 74 feet and include large convertible vessels and a 45-foot open model. It is developing a tri-level yacht, the 82m, that will be Viking's largest. The company produces more than 100 yachts annually from its 550,00 sq. ft. facility. It sells its vessels through a network of more than 40 dealers, six of which are based outside the US. Viking Yacht was founded in 1964.
