Together, Alamo and National maintain a fleet of more than 300,000 vehicles. The companies also operate from more than 4,000 locations, primarily in North America but also in the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. VCR's global network is further expanded through agreements with other vehicle rental agencies, including Europcar. The company was acquired by rival Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 2007.
