One of North America's leading ski resort operators, Vail Resorts operates four mountain resorts in Colorado (Beaver Creek, Breckenridge Mountain Resort, Keystone Resort, and Vail Mountain) and one in Lake Tahoe on the California/Nevada border (Heavenly Mountain Resort). The firm also owns or manages more than 20 hotel resorts with about 4,000 hotel and condominium rooms in three states (New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming), and operates six resort golf courses. Private label cereal maker Ralcorp Holdings owns about 20% of Vail Resorts.
