The company operates in three divisions: North American Gypsum (more than half of USG's sales) manufactures wallboard, gypsum fiberboard, and other products for finishing interior walls, ceilings, and floors. The Worldwide Ceilings division makes interior ceiling grid systems and acoustic tile. USG's Building Products Distribution division distributes building products through L&W Supply. USG is the largest manufacturer of gypsum products in North America and the largest distributor of wallboard in the United States.
