Overview
At the core of Uponor is its plastic pipe operations, 47% of sales, to be precise. The group is a global supplier of plumbing and heating systems for residential and commercial buildings. It also supplies pipe systems to utilities and is a leading supplier of PEX plastic pipe. In Europe and North America it provides radiant underfloor heating systems and plastic-aluminum and all-plastic tap water systems. Uponor sells ice- and snow-melting equipment and soil and turf conditioning systems for sports fields. The company is divided into four regional divisions: Uponor Central Europe; Uponor Nordic; Uponor Europe - West, East, South; and Uponor North America.
