The United Steelworkers of America - Canada represents the interests of nearly 200,000 steelworkers and other represented members in that country. The union has expanded to represent more than just steelworkers; other member groups include miners; upholsterers; rubber workers; and aluminum, brick, and glass workers. The operations are divided into three districts -- Western Canada, Ontario and Atlantic Canada, and Quebec. With offices across the country, it helps members with various labor issues, including job evaluation, legal services, member education, training, health and safety, and international affairs.
