UNIQA, a leading insurance company in Central Europe, holds a group of 10 insurance companies in Austria and other European countries. The group offers life, health, vehicle, and property insurance and related products. Subsidiaries include UNIQA Sachversicherung, which covers property and casualty insurance lines; UNIQA Personenversicherung (63%-owned), which covers all lines of personal insurance; and Raiffeisen Versicherung, which covers accident and life insurance lines and has a distribution network in some 2,500 Raiffeisen bank branches. Its Salzburger Landes-Versicherung subsidiary, which offers property and and casualty insurance, serves regional insurance companies and is Austria's oldest fire insurer.
