The company's products portfolio includes popular brand names Breyers and Magnum (ice creams), Dove and Lux (soaps), Lipton (tea), Close Up (oral care), and Vaseline. Unilever was the #1 consumer products maker worldwide -- until Procter & Gamble purchased Gillette in late 2005. Unilever sold its Unilever Cosmetics International unit to Coty for about $800 million.
