The financial services group and its units operate in some 22 European countries, with more than 9,600 branches in about 50 markets. The company is also the largest foreign bank in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), with roughly 4,000 branches and units. UniCredit is organized into several divisions, including retail banking (targeting families and small to midsized businesses), corporate and investment banking, private banking, and CEE. UniCredit's retail banking operations are led by its bank of the same name in Italy, UniCredit Bank in Germany, UniCredit Bank Austria, and Bank Pekao in Poland.
