UCLA Foundation Company Description
Helping to make La-La Land a little more erudite, The UCLA Foundation raises, manages, and disperses funds to help support the tripartite education, research, and service mission of UCLA. With more than $1 billion in assets, the organization funds the aforementioned purposes as well as campus improvements and special programs. About half of the foundation's gifts received are provided by foundations; corporations and alumni each account for some 15% of gifts. The UCLA Progress Fund, predecessor of the foundation, was established in 1945 by the school's alummi association.
