The company markets cement and related products manufactured by its parent companies. It primarily serves customers in the construction and industrial markets. Ube-Mitsubishi also operates a cement research institute in Tokyo. In an effort to break into the potentially lucrative Russian cement market, Ube-Mitsubishi Cement began exporting cement products there in 2008 -- a first for a Japanese company.
