Tween Brands Company Description
"Mom, what about me? I want to shop in my own store, too!" Thanks to Tween Brands young girls can enjoy a shopping theme park of their own. The company operates about 900 Justice stores throughout the US and in Puerto Rico that sell value-priced apparel, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, toys, and even electronics and furnishings to trendy "tweens" (girls ages 7-14). It also has about 35 franchised locations in the Middle East and Europe. The chain also sells via its Web site and through "catazines" (catalogs with editorial content). The business was spun off by Limited Brands in 1999 and changed its name to Tween Brands from Too, Inc. in 2006. In mid-2009 Tween Brands agreed to be acquired by Dress Barn.
