It's not a fisherman's tale to say that Triton Boats would like its customers to wake up and smell the walleye and bass. The company manufactures uni-body fiberglass boats favored by bass fishing tournament participants, as well as saltwater and freshwater vessels for the weekend angler. It also manufactures pontoon boats and dual purpose watercraft used for skiing and fishing. Brand names include Bay Sport, Magnum, Platinum, Bay Sport, X-Series, and Liberty. Industry giant Brunswick acquired Triton Boat in May 2005 and sold it to Arkansas-based Fishing Holdings, LLC in mid-2010. Brunswick retained Triton's aluminum boat segment.
