Trinity Broadcasting Network
Overview
TBN doesn't stand for The Bible Network, but much of its source material comes from the good book. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) operates the world's largest Christian TV network, reaching nearly 100 million US households through some 7,500 cable and more than 400 broadcast affiliates, mostly low-powered stations. The network offers mostly original faith programming, including its flagship Praise the Lord. It reaches international audiences via approximately 65 satellites. TBN was founded in 1973 by Paul and Jan Crouch, who started the network in partnership with Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, broadcasting from a single TV station in Santa Ana, California.
