Transfreight Company Description
Transfreight helps its customers get parts, products, and materials to assembly lines and other destinations on time. A third-party logistics provider, Transfreight specializing in managing supply chains for companies in the automotive, heating and cooling (HVAC), and recreational vehicle industries in the US and Canada. Toyota has been a major customer; others have included Bombardier, Emerson Climate Technologies, and Yamaha Motor. Transfreight was founded as a 50/50 joint venture between Mitsui & Co. and TNT Logistics in 1987; Mitsui & Co. became the company's sole shareholder in 2003.
