Making deliveries is a blast for TNT, the world's first publicly traded postal system operator and a leading provider of express delivery services. TNT Express delivers documents, parcels, and other freight worldwide with a fleet of about 45 airplanes and 23,400 vehicles. It relies on its own transportation fleet in Europe and uses commercial carriers to reach other regions. The company's Royal TNT Post unit is the primary mail delivery service in the Netherlands, handling some 5 billion items annually. The company also offers business mail services elsewhere in Europe. Overall, Europe accounts more than three-fourths of the company's sales; the Netherlands accounts for about one-third.
