TMI Company Description
TMI has luxury home construction down to a "T". Operating as Trendmaker Homes, the company builds single-family houses and townhouses in the Houston area. Typical homes range in price from $250,000 to $500,000. At its Trendmaker Design Center homebuyers can choose from a selection of interior finishes to customize their homes. TMI is also a residential developer; its Trendmaker Development division has some 30 communities throughout the city and surrounding areas. TMI builds within its subdivisions but also will go to where its customers are with its "Build on Your Land" program. TMI was founded in Dallas in 1971; it moved to Houston after parent Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company sold its Dallas operations.
