Overview

When the tide of offshore oil and gas exploration and production rises, Tidewater's boats are lifted. The company's fleet of about 430 vessels provides services such as transporting crews and supplies to offshore platforms, towing oil rigs, aiding in offshore construction, and anchoring rigs and equipment. The fleet includes towing-supply and supply vessels, deepwater vessels, crewboats, utility vessels, and offshore tugs. Besides its ships, Tidewater owns Quality Shipyards, which builds, repairs, and modifies vessels for its parent company and for third parties. Most of Tidewater's sales are generated outside the US.
