Overview

The company is the North American division of German conglomerate ThyssenKrupp's elevator segment, which operates about 135 subsidiaries worldwide. ThyssenKrupp Elevator both manufactures and services elevators and escalators throughout North America and has maintenance contracts on more than 170,000 units. Its products include escalators, freight elevators, and moving sidewalks, in addition to its Oildraulic hydraulic elevators (for smaller buildings) and traction (both geared and gearless) elevators.
