Overview
Like a beacon in the night, Lightstone will lead you to lodging, food, work, and more. The company invests in income-producing multifamily and commercial, mostly retail, real estate in the US. Lightstone owns more than 10,000 individual apartment units and some 20 million sq. ft. of commercial space, primarily in the Northeast, Southeast, and South. Subsidiary Beacon Management operates a portfolio of around 30 apartment communities. Chairman David Lichtenstein (German for "lightstone") founded The Lightstone Group in 1988.
