Overview

The Evolution Group wants to be the natural selection for investors. The financial services holding company splits its business into two main segments: private client and investment banking. Evolution Securities provides investment banking and other services for mid-market companies and institutional investors in the UK. Evolution Securities China serve the growing Chinese market and offers UK-based trading in Chinese stocks and vice versa. Private client unit Williams de Broë is a retail brokerage and fund management firm with more than £6 billion ($10 billion) under management. Darwin Strategic provides equity funding alternatives to public companies. Investec acquired Evolution Group in 2011.
