Overview
Texas Health Resources (THR) is takin' care of the Dallas/Fort Worth and North Texas region. The not-for-profit system includes 24 acute care and short-stay hospitals, outpatient and surgical centers, and physicians' offices. THR is a partial owner of eight community and specialty hospitals operated as joint ventures with physicians' groups. It also maintains affiliations with imaging, diagnostic, rehabilitation facilities, and home health agencies. THR's network includes more than 5,500 doctors and more than 4,100 licensed beds. Its Research and Education Institute for Texas Health Resources provides clinical studies management, medical device testing, and medical training services.
