Overview
Texas Health Resources (THR) is takin' care of Texas with nearly 30 health care facilities in the Dallas/Fort Worth and North Texas region. Formed in 1997 by the merger of Harris Methodist Health System, Presbyterian Healthcare System, and Arlington Memorial Hospital Foundation, the not-for-profit system includes about a dozen acute care and long-term acute care hospitals, in addition to mental health centers, a retirement community, and home health services. THR's network includes more than 3,600 doctors and some 3,100 licensed beds. The company's Research and Education Institute for Texas Health Resources provides clinical studies management, medical device testing, and medical training services.
