Telekom Malaysia Company Description
Telekom Malaysia provides consumers and businesses throughout Southeast Asia with voice and data services. It operates through two primary operating units: RegionCo and FixedCo. RegionCo encompasses the company's domestic mobile operations (Celcom) and overseas business (TM International). FixedCo includes its domestic fixed-line voice, data, and broadband operations, as well as its non-telecom services (TM Ventures). In 2007 the company announced a demerger plan that will see the two units split. RegionCo is slated to become a separately listed company.
