Callers, clickers, and cable aficionados connect with Tele2. The pan-European telecommunications network operator provides fixed-line and mobile phone services, data transmission, and Internet access to nearly 30 million customers in 11 countries. Outside of Sweden its top markets are Russia and the Netherlands, while nations in the Nordic, Baltic, and northern European regions round out Tele2's service area. Wireless services make up well over half of total sales. Other Tele2 units provide systems integration services (Datametrix) and cable television broadcasting (Kabelvision). Swedish investment group Investment AB Kinnevik owns 30% of the company and controls 48% of the voting rights.
