Techwell designs decoder chips that convert analog video into digital form, and processors used to display digital video, HDTV, and PC data. Mixed-signal semiconductors, which blend analog and digital elements, are in high demand as popular consumer products, such as cell phones and Apple's iPod, are now capable of playing videos downloaded from the Web or from providers of wireless services. Techwell's OEM customers include Fujitsu, LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, and Toshiba. Almost all of Techwell's sales are to customers in the Asia/Pacific region.
