There's no "I" in Team Health, a leading provider of clinical outsourcing services to hospitals and physicians groups across the US. The company's main business is providing outsourced physician staffing and administrative services to hospital emergency rooms. It handles everything from doctor recruitment and medical training programs, to billing, payroll processing, and claims management. It provides similar program management services for hospital-affiliated radiology, anesthesiology, and pediatrics groups, as well as inpatient care (hospitalist) programs. Team Health contracts with some 600 hospitals and affiliated clinics in 45 states. It was acquired in 2005 by The Blackstone Group.
