Overview
TBI has seen its share of takeoffs and landings. The company operates eight airports in which it holds controlling interests: Belfast International (UK), Cardiff International (UK), London Luton (UK), Orlando Sanford International (US), Skavsta Airport (Sweden), and three airports in Bolivia. In addition, TBI provides services including cargo handling, facilities management, and ground handling at more than 25 airports, and it manages another five airports. The company has sold nearly all of its property portfolio, but it still operates the luxury hotel Hilton Cardiff. Airport Concessions & Development, 90%-owned by Abertis Infraestructuras and 10%-owned by the Spanish airports authority, acquired TBI in 2004.
