Overview

This company has the menu that restaurants depend on. Sysco is the #1 foodservice supplier in North America, serving about 400,000 customers through a fleet of 8,800 delivery trucks and more than 180 distribution centers in the US and Canada. Its core broadline distribution business supplies food and non-food products to restaurants, schools, hotels, health care institutions, and other foodservice customers, while its SYGMA Network focuses on supplying chain restaurants. Sysco distributes both nationally branded products and its own private-label goods. In addition, Sysco supplies customers with specialty produce and meat products, and it distributes kitchen equipment and supplies for the hospitality industry.
