Suzano Company Description

Suzano is a suzerain of South American paper. Suzano Bahia Sul Papel e Celulose S.A. manufactures eucalyptus pulp, paperboard, and woodfree printing and writing paper (both coated and uncoated). The company maintains a paper and paperboard production capacity of 1.1 million tons per year and a pulp production capacity of more than 1.8 million tons per year. The company took its current form and name in 2004, when Bahia Sul Celulose acquired Companhia Suzano de Papel e Celulose. Since its beginnings in 1924, Suzano has been controlled by the Feffer family, which has a long record of entrepreneurship in the pulp and paper market.
