Ranch-style homes are heated and backyard barbecues fueled by Suburban Propane Partners, a leading US retail propane marketer, behind Energy Transfer Partners, AmeriGas, and Ferrellgas. With more than 300 service centers in 30 states, Suburban Propane serves more than 900,000 retail customers. It annually sells 386.2 million gallons of propane and about 76.5 million gallons of fuel oil and refined petroleum products to wholesale and large end-users. It also sells and installs HVAC systems. Suburban Propane operates through four main business segments (propane, fuel oil and residual fuels;, natural gas and electricity, and services). Its propane division accounts for the bulk of the company's total revenue.
