While lighters and pens account for a majority of the company's sales and are prized by collectors, S.T. Dupont also sells other luxury items, such as fragrances, jewelry, eyewear, leather briefcases, and apparel. S.T. Dupont distributes through luxury retailers worldwide, as well as in more than 200 company-owned stores and shop-in-shops. Simon Tissot Dupont founded the firm in 1872, and Hong Kong retail investor Dickson Poon controls S.T. Dupont.
