Overview
SpeakerCraft sets the stage for home theaters and backyard barbecues. The unit of Linear designs and supplies architectural loudspeakers and other multi-room audio systems for residential applications. Its hundreds of products include a portfolio of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, outdoor weatherproof speakers, amplifiers, box speakers, and control systems. SpeakerCraft's products are sold through authorized dealers in the US and abroad. Founded in 1976, the company was acquired in 2003 by Linear, a subsidiary of Nortek (formerly NTK Holdings). In 2009 Nortek and its units filed for Chapter 11 but quickly emerged.
