SourceGear Company Description
SourceGear provides programming tools for software development, using Microsoft's Visual SourceSafe and .NET Framework technology. The applications let programmers work collaboratively and remotely at the same time. SourceGear was established in 1997. Many of SourceGear's officers and employees once worked at Spyglass, the company behind the Mosaic Web browser. Founder and self-described ".NET redneck" Eric Sink was the majority owner of SourceGear. In early 2004 he sold ownership stakes in SourceGear to officers Dan Schreiber and Corey Steffen, who were among the company's first employees. Sink maintains a Web log, or blog, at ericsink.com.
