SNOCAP Company Description
SNOCAP helps musicians turn space into stores. The company provides online digital distribution services that allow music rights holders, including independent artists and mainstream labels, to sell music through social networking profiles and personal Web sites. Through a partnership with MySpace, the company seeks to attract more than three million bands to its SNOCAP Digital Registry, keeping a percentage of revenue from each track sold through its music store portal. SNOCAP is a subsidiary of social media network imeem. SNOCAP was founded in 2002 by Napster pioneers Shawn Fanning and Jordan Mendelson, and investor Ron Conway.
