SMU Company Description
What do former first lady Laura Bush, actress Kathy Bates, and NFL Hall-of-Famer Doak Walker have in common? They're all graduates of Southern Methodist University (SMU). Founded in 1911 by what is now The United Methodist Church, SMU is a nonsectarian private institution offering undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in arts, business, engineering, humanities, law, science, and theology. Some 11,000 students attend the university, where annual tuition and fees (including room and board) exceed $40,000.
