Skylark is a leading restaurant operator in Japan with about 3,700 locations operating under such names as Bamiyan, Gusto, and Jonathan's, as well as its flagship Skylark chain. Its portfolio of chains includes both quick-service and casual dining establishments and encompasses many different styles of cuisine, including Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Western foods. In addition to its domestic locations, Skylark has a small number of outposts in Thailand and Hawaii. Japanese investment bank Nomura controls the company.
