Overview
Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) maintains a long-distance relationship with many of its customers. The company provides fixed and wireless voice and data communications services to consumer and enterprise subscribers in more than 20 countries, primarily in the Asia/Pacific region. SingTel is Singapore's largest phone company, but subsidiary Optus, Australia's #2 carrier (behind Telstra), accounts for about two-thirds of the company's revenue. SingTel primarily provides cellular telephony and broadband Internet services, but it also offers wireline telephony, IT, and pay TV services.
