SelectBuild Company Description
SelectBuild Construction is something of a hired hand for homebuilders. The company and its sister, BMC West, are operating subsidiaries of Building Materials Holding Corporation (BMHC). SelectBuild provides construction services to high-volume production US homebuilders and on certain light commercial projects. Services include structural framing, door and window installation, and concrete, truss, and wall panel placement. It also offers building materials procurement and cost management. SelectBuild Construction operates primarily in the Western US but has select operations in the Midwest and Southeast. BMHC filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June 2009.
