Overview
Security Consultants Group (SCG) provides armed and unarmed security guards for protection of federal buildings such as the EPA, US courthouses, presidential libraries, the Department of Homeland Security, and Social Security Administration buildings, as well as the FBI, IRS, and the FAA offices. SCG also maintains professional protective force services for the federal government and commercial clients. SCG is no longer involved in peripheral security services, such as systems design and installation, consulting, hazardous materials shipment tracking, and information technology. The company was founded in 1989 by CEO Joe Singh Rodriguez. In 2011 Sweden-based Securitas, acquired SCG for roughly $22.4 million.
